A wave is a group of enemy units coming from the Spawn Gates towards the Artifact aiming to destroy it. The counter on the top of the screen shows the current wave of enemies a team is fighting. Each wave spawns a different set of enemies, which go through the following three phases: preparation > combat > overtime. Defeating all enemies is needed to complete a wave. The next wave then starts with its preparation phase.

Preparation PopUp

The preparation phase happens before every wave. Players can build and repair their defenses or try to gather resources in the jungle during this time. The number on the left shows the current wave and the green zone with a clock ticking is the phase timer.

Combat

Battle PopUp

All enemy troops spawn at the Gates during the combat phase and start marching towards the Artifact. Champions must head to the front and fight the enemy. The numbers under the red zone show the number of allies alive (the blue one) and the number of enemies alive (the red one).

Overtime

Overtime PopUp

If any enemies are still alive once the timer of the combat phase runs out, the remaining forces enter into overtime, which grants a continuous boost to their movement and strength.

Prestige Points

Prestige PopUp

Winning waves and defeating Encounters rewards the team with Prestige points. If a team gathers enough points, their prestige level increases, making the troops that spawn on the enemy arena stronger.
